London's banking staff seem happier with their lot and more content to stay put, according to our latest poll.
Of 388 respondents currently working in London, 85% would now prefer not to relocate, compared to just 47.5% in 2006.
This might be because other capital cities in the British Isles seem to be growing less attractive to City workers. Just 11.3% say they would move north to Edinburgh and only 4.8% fancy Dublin as a place to work and live. These figures compare with 21.6% and 9% respectively a year ago.
But the City shouldn't get complacent - 73% of London-based financiers say they'd be prepared to head elsewhere in return for a pay rise, and around a third said they'd shift for a rise of less than 25%.
