We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Group Technology Office Graduate Talent Program.

You'll get to:

• support Product Managers and Product Owners in managing the product lifecycle from idea generation through delivery and enhancement
• assist in backlog management, feature prioritization, and sprint planning activities. Gather, analyze, and document business and Compliance users requirements
• collaborate with IT engineering teams to ensure successful implementation by enabling multi-tenant services like cluster management, security, resource and quota management, partitioning, monitoring chargeback; data governance, quality and lineage
• prepare product documentation, status reports, and presentations for stakeholders
• support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of delivered features
• an outstanding opportunity to be part of a major multi-year transformation program, bringing UBS Compliance to the forefront of the industry
• join a very agile and dynamic environment, following state of the art software development methodologies,
• provide transparency across data quality, data flows and current issues to ensure applications are of the highest standards

Your team

You'll be working in the Group Technology Office located in Zurich. We're responsible for sourcing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our world-class technology solutions. We're a global organization with multiple streams that align with each of the key functional areas within UBS to ensure that our solutions meet business needs.

Based on your interests and experience, you could be placed as a Technology Engineer Graduate, Data Engineer Graduate or Data Science and Analytics Graduate.

Your expertise

We're looking for a candidate who:

• is a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months)
• has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date
• has no more than two years of full-time work experience
• has completed their bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a MINT topic.
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• is self-motivated problem solver with an outgoing personality and have the desire to balance priorities and tasks in a hectic environment, ready to handle fast paced and sophisticated project delivery
• has an ability to analyze requirements, assess options and define priorities
• is comfortable working with ambiguity and solving complex problems
• has understanding of software development concepts, Agile delivery, APIs, data, or cloud technologies is a plus
• is hardworking, analytical and outgoing, with a desire to learn and use new technologies
• has strong delivery-oriented approach with an emphasis on quality; experience of working in an agile environment considered a plus

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long, and designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of the Group Technology Office. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you'll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You'll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you're ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
