Yes, Citi's top quant has joined hedge fund Millennium
As we reported last month, Anissa Dhouibi is no longer at Citi. Having collected her bonus for 2025, Dhouibi resigned at the end of March. She has now revealed her destination: Millennium.

Writing on LinkedIn today, Dhoubi said she had "six wonderful years" at Citi and is "thrilled to join Millennium."
Millennium did not immediately respond to a request to comment. It's not clear whether Dhouibi is setting up a new pod or joining a centralised team of quant analysts. At Citi, she was the global head of equities quantitative analysis.
After Dhoubi resigned, Citi briefly advertised her role in London, saying it was looking for a "visionary" managing director with a PhD or Masters and 15 years' experience to lead its team.
The advertisement has since disappeared, suggesting that someone has been hired or moved internally. There are unconfirmed reports that it might be EL Mostafa Ezzine, a London-based managing director who is head of hybrids.
