About the Role

We are seeking a credible, experienced and self-starting Head of Treasury who, as an individual contributor, will own the Group's cash, liquidity investment and banking portfolios as the business scales at pace to reach half a billion in revenues in a few years. Based in our headquarters in Amsterdam and reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for cash and liquidity planning across the entire Group - spanning 30+ legal entities in 16 jurisdictions - ensuring the business always has the right funds, in the right currency, in the right place, at the right time.

This is a hands-on, single-contributor role rather than a leadership position: there is no treasury team to manage. Success comes from deep technical expertise, sharp judgement, strong banking relationships, and the ability to build robust, automated processes and models that scale with hypergrowth. You will coordinate our overnight cash pooling arrangements, own global bank relationships, invest surplus cash prudently, and drive long-term liquidity planning and budgeting. Freed from line management, you will partner closely with Controllership, FP&A, Tax and the wider business to turn a complex multi-entity, multi-currency footprint into a well-orchestrated treasury function. This role would suit someone with high intellect and drive, looking to supercharge their career in a hypergrowth environment.

About the Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

Own group-wide cash and liquidity planning across 30+ legal entities in 16 jurisdictions, producing accurate short-, medium- and long-term cash forecasts.
Maintain a consolidated, near real-time view of group cash positions and drive daily cash management decisions.
Ensure each legal entity is appropriately funded, coordinating intercompany funding, upstreaming and repatriation of surplus cash.
Monitor and manage FX exposure, funding needs and liquidity risk across a multi-currency balance sheet.
Devise and execute FX hedging strategies to reduce the impact of FX volatility on our financial results
As the businesses where we act as a clearinghouse grow, orchestrate processes to manage and invest wisely the ever increasing "float" pool of funds

Cash Pooling & Bank Relationships

Coordinate and optimise the Group's overnight (zero-balancing and notional) cash pooling structures across jurisdictions.
Own and develop global banking relationships, acting as the primary day-to-day contact for the Group's banking partners.
Manage the bank account architecture, mandates and signatory framework, rationalising accounts as the Group scales.
Lead bank tenders and negotiate pricing, credit lines, guarantees and cash management services.
Oversee electronic banking platforms and drive automation and straight-through processing of payments.

Investment of Cash & Long-Term Liquidity Planning

Invest surplus cash in line with the Group's investment policy, balancing yield, liquidity and counterparty risk.
Build and maintain long-term liquidity plans, funding strategies and the treasury input into the Group budget.
Develop robust cash flow models to support scenario planning, capital allocation and, where relevant, covenant monitoring.
Establish and maintain treasury policies, controls and reporting to public-company standards, partnering with Internal Audit on remediation.
Introduce modern treasury and liquidity management tools.

Relationship Building & Cross-Functional Influence

Serve as the treasury bridge across Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Legal and Commercial, and with local entity management.
Build credibility with senior stakeholders; convert ambiguity into decisions, owners and timelines.
Provide clear, timely reporting on cash, liquidity and banking to the CFO and senior leadership.

Requirements

About You

Must Have

Proven treasury experience gained in an international, multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
Expertise in cash and liquidity management, cash flow forecasting and cash pooling structures.
Strong track record managing global bank relationships, bank account structures and cash management / e-banking platforms.
Experience investing corporate cash within a defined risk / investment policy framework.
Strong financial modelling capability, comfortable building forecasts and scenarios from first principles.
Solid understanding of treasury controls, FX hedging and funding in a regulated, cross-border environment.
Able to operate as a hands-on individual contributor with minimal support and no dedicated team.
Track record influencing senior stakeholders and landing outcomes at pace.
Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Ability to work at pace.

Nice to Have

Professional treasury or finance qualification (e.g. ACT / AMCT, ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent).
Telco / MVNE / MVNO domain, or experience in another regulated, high-growth sector.
Exposure to IPO readiness or public-company treasury, controls and reporting.
Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation and advanced data skills (SQL / Python, BI) for forecasting and monitoring.
