Financial Crime Investigators | Large-Scale Remediation
- Role Type: 6 Month Contract (until March 2027)
- Pay Rate: $450 + Super per day
- Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid - 2 days in office / 3 days WFH)
- Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
Join a high-performing remediation team at a leading global bank. Working across Transaction Monitoring, Fraud, AML, Compliance, and High-Risk Clients, you will execute end-to-end investigations and create comprehensive reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex financial crime and transaction monitoring investigations.
- Assess risk levels across all aspects of financial crime.
- Draft, finalise, and submit high-quality Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs).
- Collate findings into clear, audit-ready written investigation reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial crime investigations within banking or financial services.
- Direct experience creating and/or submitting SMRs (highly regarded).
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to hit the ground running in a collaborative, busy project environment.
