Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator

Overview
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional looking for a flexible, part-time role? We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to join our Global HR team in York. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our HR processes. This role is for 20 hours per week , offering a great balance for professionals seeking flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Drafting job adverts, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and managing offers and pre-employment checks.
• Preparing contracts, scheduling orientations, following up on probation periods, and managing leaver administration.
• Preparing HR letters, updating policies, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with GDPR.
• Responding to HR queries and providing first-line advice aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
• Organising training activities and ensuring compliance.
• Tracking and escalating absence cases, and supporting Occupational Health referrals
• Processing monthly payroll changes and maintaining HR systems

Qualifications

• Strong administration experience with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working with established processes, systems and procedures
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Confident using different systems and databases
• Workday experience would be beneficial but is not essential
• An interest in HR would be advantageous, but previous HR experience is not required
• A proactive, reliable approach with the ability to work accurately and independently
