Bernstein Autonomous Research - Diversified Financials

We have an opening for a Research Associate in our highly-ranked Autonomous Research team, covering Diversified Financials. Our industry teams are typically only three or four professionals in number, and you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution.

As a Research Associate on the Diversified Financials team you will:

1. Acquire expertise in your sector working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert
2. Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies
3. Contribute to our highly differentiated written product
4. Build relationships with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients

Qualifications

Our Research Associates typically possess:

1. A 1st class or 2:1 undergraduate degree in a relevant academic subject such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, the Sciences or Engineering from a university that is widely recognised as being ranked within the top 10-20 global institutions in its field
2. Advanced financial modelling skills and/or experience of analysing diversified financials companies from a financial standpoint (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA)
3. Excellent broad-based analytical skills
4. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
5. Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
