Job Description
The Visa Global Loyalty team is at the cutting edge of delivering solutions that drive relevancy and customer engagement. Whether for an issuer, merchant, or fintech, the team is not only looking to create innovative solutions that resonate with clients but also for the end consumer. As the world shifts towards agentic commerce, we are looking for an operations-oriented product manager that will be at the forefront of optimizing processes across all internal and external stakeholders.
Visa is seeking an expert in money movement and related emerging technologies to lead the design and development of current and the next wave of loyalty payments. This role will drive initiatives to ensure Loyalty has more ways to pay and new ways to pay, especially the option of stablecoins.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services-to identify automation opportunities, architect solutions, and ensure successful integration and adoption. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise of Visa Loyalty services, money movement related regulations, payments risk management with strategic vision and strong business acumen

Key Responsibilities:
Ownership
- Define and lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of next-generation Loyalty payment capabilities, including the current statement crediting processes, Visa Direct, VIP and RSI integrations, and emerging stablecoin-enabled rewards.
- Drive the evolution of Visa Loyalty platforms by identifying bottlenecks, expanding redemption capabilities, and enabling scalable, globally compliant loyalty payment experiences across issuers, merchants, fintechs, and ecosystem partners.
- Own end-to-end product outcomes from concept through commercialization, balancing client needs, operational excellence, risk management, regulatory obligations, and long-term platform scalability.
- Act as the global subject matter expert for Loyalty money movement, statement credit processing, cashback fulfilment, and payment innovation initiatives across multiple regions and product lines.
Strategy & Execution
- Shape and execute the Loyalty payment strategy across all Loyalty products with Visa's broader vision for digital payments, and emerging payment technologies.
- Introduce new payment paradigms, including stablecoin-based reward funding, on-ramping/off-ramping models, account-to-account payment integrations, and next-generation reward distribution frameworks.
- Establish operating models, governance structures, and execution frameworks that enable scalable delivery while maintaining strong risk, compliance, and regulatory controls across global markets.
- Lead prioritization of product enhancements, initiatives, and platform modernization efforts that improve operational efficiency, client experience, resiliency, and commercial outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Growth Products, Engineering, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, AML, Settlement, Licensing, Visa Direct, and regional teams to deliver globally scalable loyalty payment solutions.
- Own Loyalty's relationship and operating model with VGSI (money transmission license entity), including determining when the regulated entity is required.
- Influence executive stakeholders through governance forums, risk reviews, strategic planning cycles, and business prioritization processes to secure alignment and investment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders on loyalty payments, money movement regulations, fulfilment models, and operational best practices.
Technical Leadership & Best Practices
- Provide thought leadership on payment architectures, loyalty fulfilment systems, Visa payment rails, statement credit processing, Visa Direct, transaction data, and emerging payment technologies.
- Establish and maintain robust operating controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices to support highly regulated money movement and loyalty payment services.
- Champion platform resiliency, automation, auditability, and operational excellence through proactive risk identification, root cause analysis, control enhancement, and process standardization.
Continuous Innovation
- Identify and evaluate emerging industry trends across digital assets, stablecoins, open banking, real-time payments, tokenized value exchange, and agentic commerce to shape the future of Loyalty payments.
- Leverage AI, analytics, and workflow automation to improve product operations, decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and client outcomes.
- Champion innovation that unlocks new revenue streams, enhances client value, strengthens risk controls, and expands Visa's leadership position within loyalty, rewards, and money movement ecosystems

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Experience in creating vision statements and setting product goals.
- Experience in defining product strategy.
- Experience in product design.
- Experience in customer discovery and the design of new products based on that discovery.
- Experience in product execution.
- Experience in defining and leading plans to achieve product goals.
- Experience working in Agile frameworks and matrixed organizations.
- Experience in process or core banking best practices.
- Experience recruiting, growing, retaining, and leading technical talent.
- Experience collaborating in global, cross-functional teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to forecast business trends
- Senior product management experience in Digital, Payments, and Financial Services.
- Proven track record of launching and managing digital products for issuers.
- Deep background in issuing institutions and managing large card portfolios.
- Experience in developing or launching new solutions and managing engagement, UX, and UI transformation.
- Experience leading difficult deal negotiations and managing third-party vendors.
- Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual rigor.
- Experience managing diverse teams with positive records.
