What you'll do
As a Strategic Finance Adviser for Investments, you'll provide data-led reporting and insights to support the leadership team in making informed cost and investment decisions, working closely with the franchise. You'll review and challenge investment proposals, ensuring business cases are robust, well-evidenced, and aligned to strategic priorities.

- Take on an exciting role where you'll use data, analytics and change tooling to deliver timely, insightful reporting that supports key business decisions
- You'll work on planning and forecasting activities, providing business leaders with clear analysis, key themes and actionable financial insight
- Develop your expertise and gain valuable exposure in a fast-paced, analytical role, working across a varied investment portfolio
- You'll spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of your time working from home
What you'll do
As a Strategic Finance Adviser for Investments, you'll provide data-led reporting and insights to support the leadership team in making informed cost and investment decisions, working closely with the franchise. You'll review and challenge investment proposals, ensuring business cases are robust, well-evidenced, and aligned to strategic priorities.
You'll also be:
- Delivering investment tracking and forecasting reviews, providing clear visibility of performance
- Applying data analysis and problem-solving techniques, using the right tools and approaches to address strategic challenges
- Collaborating with our Change Finance Centre of Excellence, working together to solve issues and improve financial processes and outcomes
- Managing intangible assets across the investment portfolio, partnering with non-finance stakeholders to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and ongoing management

- Data analysis and modelling skills including experience developing and reviewing plans, forecasts, and scenarios
- Strategic awareness, applying business knowledge and challenge to support business decision making
- A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, including capitalisation
