The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor to join one of the UK's largest and most established Housing Management teams. This role would suit a solicitor with housing litigation, property litigation or broader real estate disputes experience looking to develop their expertise within a specialist and highly regarded practice.
Acting for a diverse client base including registered providers, local authorities, charities and private landlords, you will advise on a broad range of contentious matters. The caseload will include possession proceedings, injunction applications, anti-social behaviour cases, tenancy enforcement, housing fraud, succession disputes, service charge disputes, and matters involving the Equality Act 2010 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Working as part of a national team, you will have the opportunity to handle complex and high-profile litigation, collaborate with leading practitioners in the sector and build specialist expertise in housing-related disputes.

What They're Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor or equivalent with experience in litigation
- Experience in housing litigation, property litigation or related dispute resolution matters
- Previous experience acting for social landlords would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Equality Act 2010 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and legal analysis skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborative approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic, client-focused outlook
