Description

Responsible for providing bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.



Key responsibilities:



Maintaining client accounting records using cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage).

Processing sales and purchase invoices, bank transactions, and journal entries.

Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

Preparing and submitting VAT returns.

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Assisting with month-end and year-end processes.

Liaising directly with clients to resolve bookkeeping queries and obtain financial information.

Supporting accountants with the preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts.

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and HMRC requiremen




Key Responsibilities

Strong bookkeeping and reconciliations experience.

Experience managing multiple clients and competing deadlines.

Proficiency in cloud accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.

Knowledge of VAT and basic accounting principles.

Experience of sage 50, xero, Excel
