Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a talented Lawyer to join our highly regarded General Insurance team in Dubai.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside market-leading partners and lawyers on a broad range of contentious and advisory insurance matters. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-profile regional and international disputes while developing strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-profile regional and international disputes while developing strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising insurers, reinsurers and corporate clients on a wide range of insurance and reinsurance disputes.
- Managing claims from inception through to resolution, including litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
- Drafting legal advice, court pleadings, witness statements and settlement documentation.
- Supporting partners on complex, cross-border matters across the Middle East and wider international markets.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through responsive and commercially focused legal advice.
- Participating in business development activities, client training and networking initiatives.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate.
The Candidate
- 3-4 years' PQE/qualified lawyer with experience in dealing with Insurance and Insurance related matters across all lines
- Experience in insurance casualty and liability with coverage and reporting helpful
- Experience of London market coverage work in insurance an advantage
- Experience of running or assisting with litigation and/or arbitration
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic language proficiency would be an advantage.
- Ability to apply a commercial approach to claims to deliver practical and economic solutions
- To be proactive and take initiative
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage own time and excellent organisation skills
- Strong technical and research skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy caseload of low to medium value claims and to work with senior lawyers on high value claims
