RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Job Summary
This paralegal position presents an opportunity for talented and motivated candidates to combine their interests in finance and the law and is an excellent opportunity for candidates considering a career in corporate law or business. The paralegal would be expected to assist attorneys supporting the various wealth management businesses of Goldman Sachs with a principal focus on supporting Ayco and United Capital Advisers dba Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management. The paralegal would, among other duties, help prepare agreements with corporate clients where we provide financial counseling services to their employees, maintain and update cross border guidance on business dealings, maintain and update contract forms and client agreement forms, track negotiated documents, maintain internal corporate governance documentation and coordinate with various business and other units to finalize and close various agreements. The paralegal would also support the Ayco and GS PFM coverage attorneys in maintaining and reviewing a variety of documents used in the businesses, which offer a broad range of services (investment management, financial planning, tax and insurance services) and products (securities, derivatives, cash, and alternative investments) to the firm's clients in the Consumer and Wealth Management Division. The paralegal would also assist with legal projects related to these businesses.
