Position Overview

Job Title: Trade Operations Operator

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Overview

As a US and Emerging Markets Rates & Credit Trade Operations Analyst in Derivatives Middle Office, you will support trade lifecycle management for the Corporate Derivative's desk. FICC Operations is a dynamic group that collaborates with all areas of Deutsche Bank in turn creating a myriad of learning opportunities and a collaborative culture. We serve as an international business partner to aid in processes and controls, as well as help improve our systems to deliver accuracy, efficiency, and the overall integrity to our business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with various Traders, Sales, and Clearing Brokers on trade clearance and communicate with other operational teams to resolve settlement issues and intercompany breaks

  • Ensure all T0-T3 risk is properly mitigated through monitoring of key control reports daily

  • Anticipating issues that may adversely affect the operational support of the of the funds and taking action to reduce the risk of occurrences

  • Cultivating both internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved

  • Become familiar with regulatory requirements around derivative products

  • Developing a deeper understanding of different products and markets and build relationships with our business partners to service our clients


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Financial Services experience (Derivatives)

  • Basic understanding of Investment Bank / Securities Broker structure with regard to derivatives transaction processing

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to take direction as needed as well as being able to work independently

  • BA/BS/BBA in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience
