Within the Enterprise Transformation & Performance team we have opportunities in the area below:
Advanced Analytics Senior Manager - The candidate will be expected to lead consulting assignments in the data and advanced analytics space. This role will require expertise across the full lifecycle of advanced analytics use cases utilising skills and tooling encompassing the build of data warehouses and data platforms and use of machine learning tooling and methods along with advanced BI tool to drive and bring to life business insights. Experience with SAP data and analytics tooling (SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and native HANA Predictive and Machine learning) is highly desirable and experience with hyper-scaler tooling certainly advantageous.

Your role
As an Advanced Analytics Manager/Senior Manager, you will have responsibility for:
•Advising on good practice and processes in advanced analytics and the supporting data platforms in order to drive business insights through robust, reliable, scalable solutions.
•Demonstrating knowledge of client decision-making and support processes and key client business drivers.
•Advising on the solution options available to accommodate the client's requirements and the advantages and disadvantages relating to those options.
•Understanding industry context.
•Supporting client requirements gathering/analysis workshops.
•Taking responsibility for planning, scoping, managing and creating deliverables as part of a larger project team.
•Managing small teams on projects to deliver tasks, including providing guidance and feedback to junior team members.
•Establishing effective working relationships with senior client leaders including the c-suite as part of consultative and/or project delivery roles.
•Assisting in pre-sales activity including the development of client bids and effectively able to present these bids to clients
•Undertaking practice development activities including contributing to thought leadership pieces, running industry events, delivering training or managing team communications.

Location:
Based in various locations in the UK, this role also requires flexibility to work onsite at clients across multiple locations.

Your professional experience
To be successful in this role you are required to have:
•Good working hands on and architectural knowledge of SAP Analytics products including SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, HANA native predictive analytics
•Excellent understanding of hybrid on-premise, cloud and multi-cloud architectures including but not limited to hyper-scaler data tooling such as BigQuery, Redshift and Azure Synapse.
•Have a proven track record in using data science techniques and approaches as a business enabler at senior enterprise level
•Be a clear strategic thinker, with the ability to translate vision into tangible business benefit.
•Be able to take complex ideas and make them simple and compelling to new and existing Clients and turn them into revenue opportunities
•Excellent requirement gathering, analysis and modelling techniques, an ability to translate business requirements into robust logical data models and highly usable and engaging reports and dashboards.
•An understanding of modern Enterprise Data Warehousing concepts, design patterns and techniques.
•Relevant experience working in a financial discipline within management consulting OR relevant experience working in industry in financial / commercial roles.
•Hands on experience with other non-SAP market leading BI and analytic tools such as Tableau, Qlik and Power BI on at least one full implementation lifecycle.
•Ability to translate technical information to non-technical individuals is essential, as well as the ability to present this to a range of audiences in a clear, concise and appropriate manner.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Consistently high quality personal and professional standards.
•Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Ability to travel and stay away from home up to five days a week.

Additional desirable experience includes:
•Knowledge of data modelling challenges such as data harmonisation, time dependency, master data management, currency handling.
•Qualified/part qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
•Technical certification on any of the technologies mentioned above.
