My client, a financial services group and city based investment bank, is looking to recruit a Reference Data Oversight Manager who will have responsibility for the oversight and management of the run the bank reference data function in India and act as the central point of contact for key stakeholders in EMEA as well as evolving the company's overall data performance.

My client, a financial services group and city based investment bank, is looking to recruit a Reference Data Oversight Manager who will have responsibility for the oversight and management of the run the bank reference data function in India and act as the central point of contact for key stakeholders in EMEA as well as evolving the company's overall data performance.

The Reference Data Management team is responsible for ensuring high levels of data quality (book, counterparty, instrument, pricing and event driven data) throughout the organisation and infrastructure, facing off to multiple regions, functions and asset classes.

In order to be successful this person would have daily oversight of Key Risk Indicators and daily oversight of data quality performance. You would also be the key owner of continuous work-driver root cause analysis, be the escalation contact for the team in India and act as regional stakeholder manager across Technology, Operations, Risk and Trading. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to get involved in key data projects.

My client is looking for someone who is an established AVP/Associate with a strong data management background and understanding of data management processes / environment. This person will have an understanding of capital markets asset classes, client data and internal books and have a high level of understanding of the drivers behind Corporate and Business function consuming data.

As the oversight manager you will need to have an understanding of Control frameworks and have strong stakeholder management and engagement experience.
