Our client is one of the UK's most capitalised, entrepreneurial, and innovative SME investors. It has a number of products under management and this includes a growing Venture Capital programme. As a result of this growth, the portfolio now needs specialist support, and it is the right time to bring on board a Porftolio Director. You'll work closely with a number of the companies helping them grow towards an eventual exit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with a number of portfolio companies
  • Work on value enhancement or value preservation projects
  • Build a trusted relationship with the portfolio company management teams
  • Prepare a company and its management for exit, including the appointment of suitable advisers and managing the exit process

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Worked closely with Venture backed SMEs as an investor, portfolio professional, or operator
  • Be able to demonstrate a high degree of entrepreneurial thought
  • Ideally have experience of working as an Finance Director or in a business development role for a venture capital business
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate well with management teams
