Infrastructure Capital Markets Analyst M/F - Corporate and Investment Banking - United Kingdom
At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Global Finance entity of SG Corporate and Investment Banking. We provide our issuer clients (corporates, financial institutions, public sector) with capital raising solutions, along with structured financing and commodities, forex and interest rate hedging. Developing tailor-made products and providing strategic advice (capital structure advisory, financing schemes and capital markets) based on our worldwide expertise and in-depth sectorial knowledge, we aim to meet their financing needs. We are a top player across euro debt capital markets and won many international accolades over the years as a worldwide leader in export, project and natural resources & energy finance.

The Infrastructure Capital Markets team is involved origination and execution of project bonds, both in the private and public bond markets denominated in the Euros and GBP mostly. The Bonds are used to finance or refinance debt of projects in transport or social infrastructure, oil and gas, power and renewable energy sectors. The team interacts with SG's Project Finance, Rating Advisory, M&A, DCM origination as well as Bond/Loan Sales and Syndicate.

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities :

- Preparation of marketing material for client presentations and/or internal marketing
- Production of market analysis and reviews
- Maintenance of transaction data base
- Preparation of analytical support and use of models
- Research and preparation of comparable deal case studies

-Use of external analytical and market information systems such as Bloomberg and relevant news providers

Profile required
Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Finance or Mathematics.

Preferably some experience in:
- Credit Analysis
- Debt Capital Markets
- Project Finance (modelling)

You are fluent in English, other languages is a plus (French, Spanish, German, Italian)
You are proficient in Office application.
You have Bloomberg and modelling skills
You used to work under time pressure.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see
