The European Equity Analyst will be responsible for equity research and equity analysis on individual European stocks that support equity model portfolios and funds run by the Asset Management Equity Portfolio Management team.
The European Equity Analyst will identify, analyse and articulate stock investment ideas using fundamental stock analysis focusing on European equities (continental Europe and UK).
Present stock recommendations to European and Global fund managers – provide Equity Analysis to portfolio managers.
Participate in meetings and conference calls with company management and investor relations.
The European Equity Analyst will support analysis and understanding of stocks within the model portfolios run at the Asset Management firm.
Produce and maintain research notes and spreadsheet models associated with stock selection process, keeping up to date on Equity market developments.
Perform and write up Equity Research as required, including analysis that supports other aspects of the asset management process such as asset allocation.
The European Equity Analyst will also liaise with the sales and marketing department - providing European stock selection marketing material.
Support the qualitative and quantitative processes and ensure data integrity across platforms.
An experienced Equity Analyst with demonstrable experience covering UK and European stocks. At least 5 years’ experience.
Generalist sector coverage (or at least strong knowledge of 3 different sectors)
Buy Side experience is preferred, however sell side will also be considered.
Proven track-record of value generating fundamental stock recommendations – Pan-European stock coverage.
Financial modelling experience.
Passion for stock picking and investing.
