Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and highly analytical individual to join our Asset Management team as an Analyst. Working across a large portfolio of predominantly office assets in London and Paris, you will play an integral role in supporting asset management and investment management decisions. You will develop financial models, analyse strategic opportunities, support business planning and contribute to initiatives that improve asset performance and create value.

The team operates with a collaborative structure, providing Analysts with meaningful exposure to senior management and the opportunity to take ownership of projects and workstreams as they demonstrate strong performance and capability. You will work closely with colleagues across asset management, development, leasing, financing and capital markets, gaining direct insight into both strategic decision-making and the execution of key initiatives. This role offers an excellent foundation for a long-term career in institutional real estate investment and management.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Underwriting

• Build, maintain and enhance detailed financial models for operating assets, development projects and strategic initiatives
• Evaluate leasing, capital expenditure, financing and development scenarios and assess their impact on asset performance and investment returns
• Undertake financial analysis, valuations and sensitivity testing to support decision-making
• Over time the role can broaden to include the underwriting of acquisition and investment opportunities, including analysis of cash flow assumptions, capital structures, return metrics and upside/downside scenarios

Asset & Portfolio Management

• Partner closely with asset managers, development managers and leasing teams to identify opportunities to enhance asset value
• Monitor asset performance against approved business plans and investment objectives
• Assist in evaluating operational and leasing initiatives, , capital expenditure and development projects and track these against budgets and forecasts
• Work collaboratively with internal teams including leasing, development, financing, legal, tax and portfolio management

Transactions & Stakeholder Coordination

• Support refinancing analysis and deal execution, working closely with credit and capital markets teams
• Prepare strategic recommendations on disposition processes and coordinate due diligence materials, analysis and information requests from external advisors and investors
• Coordinate with lenders, investors, JV partners, co-investors and advisors

Business Planning & Reporting

• Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long-term business plans
• Assist in the preparation of materials for investment committee and strategic recommendations to senior management 
• Lead the preparation of quarterly board reporting, presentations and performance analysis
• Responsibility for quarterly valuation processes through the preparation and coordination of relevant information and analysis

Person Specification

Essential

• Experience building and working with financial models, with the ability and interest to develop these skills further
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and reach well-reasoned conclusions
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop these skills further in the role
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Intellectual curiosity, proactive approach and a genuine interest in real estate investment and asset management
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced team oriented environment
• Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across disciplines and geographies
• Uses initiative to plan projects, support workstreams and contributes ideas that improve efficiency

Desirable

• Experience with Argus Developer and/or Argus Enterprise
• Experience in use of AI tools including Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: real estate asset management, investment, development, valuation, real estate lending and debt investing, or corporate finance or investment analysis with a real estate focus. Transferable experience from related analytical roles will also be considered
