URGENT ROLES

Morgan McKinley is recruiting for two Compliance Risk Analysts on behalf of our prestigious Finance Client in Belfast. The positions have arisen due to the heightened expectations from regulators and as such the business is enhancing the Risk and Control function. The Compliance Risk Analysts will be rewarded with a daily salary of £146/ day on an initial 6 month contract.

This role is to be part of the Central Auctions Conduct Risk team, reporting to the Business Risk Manager. The role would assist in the development and maintenance of front office control frameworks, ensuring a robust and preventive control framework in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

 Involvement in assisting control remediation projects as required

 Control sample testing

 Preparation and analysis of management material for key Committees

 Provide cover and assist the wider team with other responsibilities including, but not limited to, updating

and enhancing global policies, procedures and processes

 Working alongside the wider team to assist in various matters pertaining to Governance

 Assisting with audit and compliance inquiries and/or examinations

Qualifications and skills:

 Good experience in at least one of: control, risk, compliance, audit or regulatory functions

 Strong project management skills - excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and adapt to change

 Self-motivated and detail oriented

 Problem solver with the ability to translate plans in actions

 Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

 Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

 Strong influence, negotiating and relationship skills

 Ability to self-manage, prioritise your own workload to meet the demands of working in a dynamic

environment

 Ability to demonstrate credible challenge to front office/business

 Undergraduate degree required

Education / Experience:
 Experience in areas related to internal audit, risk management or compliance
function, at a financial services organisation, or professional services/consulting firm
 Bachelor's degree (2:1 or higher)
Preferred:
 The following accounting and industry certifications would be helpful but not
essential: Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA), Certified Management Account
(CMA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
