Join an international organisation as a Business Controller, partnering closely with operational teams to monitor performance, support strategic decision-making and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the monthly and annual closing processes.
- Analyse monthly performance and variances against forecasts, budgets and previous-year results.
- Identify corrective actions and monitor their effective implementation.
- Contribute to monthly reporting and business reviews, improving the quality and relevance of management reporting.
- Prepare and coordinate annual budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to the review and development of the long-term business plan.
- Act as a Business Partner to commercial and technical management teams, supporting them in financial performance monitoring and decision-making.
- Monitor the application of financial procedures and processes across the business unit and Group.
- Support CAPEX-related projects, including investment analysis and post-investment reviews.
- Prepare business cases for new projects, including cost analysis, profitability considerations and risk assessment.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support management and business decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting, controlling processes and financial tools.
- Occasional travel within Europe may be required.
- Master's degree in Finance, Management, Business, Engineering with additional Finance/Management training, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling, management control or audit, ideally within an international environment.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools; Power BI is a strong advantage.
- Fluent professional English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Autonomous, organised and proactive, with the ability to challenge existing processes and make recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a trusted Business Partner to operational and management teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment and managing multiple priorities.
