Your team

Corporate Functions includes the Group's non-banking activities and employs more than 900 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk, Strategy & Projects, and Tax departments.

This role reports to the Chief of Staff, Human Resources.

Your role

Support the HR and business evolution and ambition through advanced analytics and AI, delivering actionable insights that drive strategic people decisions and unlock organisational value. Translate complex people data into practical insights that support effective business and HR strategies, enabling HR to anticipate and understand key workforce trends - such as turnover, performance, compensation and engagement - by leveraging the latest in data science. Foster a culture where data-driven insights inform and enhance every aspect of the employee experience and organisational effectiveness. You will be responsible for:
• Developing and communicating a clear vision for advancing the HR function toward a data-driven, insight-led culture. Shaping the future of data and analytics in HR by identifying required skills, capabilities, and optimal ways of working across business lines and specialisms.
• Managing a small team, prioritising and reviewing requests, balancing workload, and actively coaching to build skills and capabilities.
• Critically assessing the HR analytics technology landscape, identifying opportunities for simplification, modernisation, and improvement, including the integration of AI-powered tools.
• Taking full ownership of HR metrics, continuously enhancing their value and relevance for business insight generation.
• Realising the full potential of analytics by establishing clear HR data governance and ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Introducing and championing tools and platforms that significantly enhance the capabilities of HR and enable rapid generation of new insights.
• Expanding the scope and depth of descriptive analytics by developing analyses that provide enhanced insights into key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, DEI, talent).

The role will be based in Geneva or London.

Your profile
• At least 8-10 years of work experience.
• University degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record in leading people analytics initiatives or establishing people analytics functions in complex organisations.
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau and Snowflake, as well as Python and other programming languages. Detailed understanding of modern data science/machine learning frameworks, with experience in cloud-based analytics environments.
• Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors would be advantageous.
• Recognised authority in data and analytics, with a strong grasp of the latest trends in AI, machine learning, and data science. Strong knowledge of the HR environment, topics and data across the employee life cycle.
• Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team while remaining hands-on with complex analytical work.
• Exceptional project management skills, managing processes, stakeholders, dependencies, and timelines closely.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for influencing and aligning others around innovative, data-driven approaches.
• Highly skilled in both supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, and experienced in applying these to real-world HR challenges.
• Experience of working in a matrix organisation, and collaborating seamlessly with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French would be beneficial but not essential.
• Based in Geneva or London. If Geneva based, must be a resident of Switzerland.
