Redstone Commodity Search are working with global steel trading house looking to hire a steel trading manager to join the commercial team in Singapore
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Manage steel sales to customers in the Singaporean market and to explore new value added opportunities within South East Asia
- Develop and achieve annual trading target, and develop sales tactics and strategies to meet annual business plan
- Able to immediately leverage on existing relationships with producers and importers in the area
- Maintain a full and current understanding of customer requirements, competitor activity, market activity, customer and supplier performance
- Reports into Steel Trading General Manager
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of 6 years within steel trading/ Singaporean Markets
- Good working experience and knowledge of INCO TERMS 2020, contract exposure, UCP 600 and marine freight
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Independent thinker to support growth aspirations
- Fluent in English
