What You'll Do:

1. Work on global infrastructure projects spanning low-level systems, applications, HPC environments, and trading infrastructure.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve highly complex technical issues.
3. Develop engineering tools that improve problem diagnosis, resolution, and incident triage.
4. Collaborate across teams and time zones, contributing to diverse engineering initiatives.
5. Provide weekend infrastructure support while continuing project-focused engineering work during weekdays.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and maintaining sophisticated Linux-based systems.
2. Applying strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills to challenging production issues.
3. Building automation and diagnostic solutions using Python and/or Go.
4. Supporting networking, configuration management, and large-scale infrastructure.
5. Profiling and debugging complex application stacks.
6. Designing, building, and maintaining reliable, high-performance systems.
7. Working a modified schedule that includes weekends and 12-hour weekend shifts approximately one-third of the year.
8. Maintaining dependable and predictable availability for operational support.
