Build a Singapore Brokerage Platform

Hands-on equities execution. Ownership of the dealing setup. An opportunity to shape a growing securities business.

An international wealth management group is developing its Singapore securities platform and seeking an experienced equities professional to help establish its dealing capabilities.

This opportunity could suit a senior equities dealer, execution trader or dealing team lead who enjoys improving how trading works and wants broader involvement in platform development.

You will combine practical dealing responsibilities with the opportunity to shape execution workflows, trading controls and the client experience, working closely with management, product, technology, operations and compliance.

What you will do

1. Help establish the equities dealing function, including order handling, execution arrangements, procedures and service standards.
2. Contribute to trading platform requirements, user acceptance testing, launch readiness and ongoing enhancements.
3. Coordinate with brokers and internal teams to support reliable execution and resolve trading issues.
4. Develop practical controls and escalation procedures for rejected orders, execution discrepancies and platform incidents.
5. Improve the client journey across account opening, funding, trading and settlement.
6. Support the development and training of the dealing team as the business grows.

Who we would like to meet

You bring hands-on cash equities execution experience gained within securities brokerage, private banking, wealth management or asset management.

You should have:

1. A sound understanding of equity markets, order types, execution methods and trading workflows.
2. Experience working with trading systems and coordinating with operations, technology and compliance.
3. Strong judgement when handling trading issues, client enquiries and operational risks.
4. The willingness to take ownership and work across functions within a lean team.

Experience in desk setup, platform implementation, system migration, UAT or introducing new market access would be particularly relevant. Please highlight your contribution to these projects in your application.

Prior team leadership is advantageous. We also welcome experienced dealers ready to take on broader responsibilities.
