The APAC Technology and Change organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division. The organization includes APAC WM Core Technology, APAC WM Client Technology, APAC Products IT, APAC Markets IT and APAC Global Markets IT.

The role would be for a business engineer to lead in the requirements' gathering, analysis and solutioning of the Core Banking platform. You will work together with business users, locally and from other regions, and with the main delivery team that is based out of Singapore to provide quality solutions to help our business achieve their strategic goals. Strong influencing skills and a good solid understanding of local products and operations is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the business and IT business partners to provide sound analysis and solutions
  • Author requirements, epics, user stories and tasks aligned with user/customer/market/developer needs
  • Seek to ensure end-to-end requirements are clear and target business processes are well-defined
  • Ensure that all solutions are in compliance with Credit Suisse risk and governance guidelines, and local regulatory requirements
  • Become a strategic part of the Credit Suisse business by building strong positive relationships with all business partners, understanding the challenges they face and using your expertise to deliver the systems that suits the partner needs
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner closely to deliver solutions and user-centric banking applications for use by Clients / Relationship Managers / Support functions
  • Keen understanding of the different technology domains within the Bank and how different functions operate across domains
  • Willing and able to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements
  • Proactive risk management - building a sustainable control environment by reducing operational risks, eliminating manual steps and sub-optimal practices
  • Remain open and alert to new technology opportunities

You Offer

We expect these qualifications, knowledge and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis/engineering in the Private Banking or Wealth Management industry
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills built on industry experience in private banking or technology development
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills – problem structuring, logical thinking and story-lining essential
  • Outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with multi-functional/cross-regional teams and with senior management
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Proficient in business processes, products and core banking systems
  • Can deliver complex systems in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion and experience in Agile working practices like Scrum or Kanban, with a strong desire to deliver on time with high level of integrity, flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
  • Knowledge of T24 or any Core Banking system advantage
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative
