Job Description
As Controller, you will be tasked with coordinating administrative processes, analyzing and preparing reports for management. Your duties include managing and controlling the general ledger and preparing balance sheet specifications. On a daily basis, you have a lot of contact with your colleagues from the financial administration and you are the sparring partner of various budget holders within the organization. As Controller you are also responsible for taking care of periodic closings and reconciliations.

Daily tasks :

• Preparation of reports and reconciliations;
• Performing work for the annual audit and delivery to the accountant;
• Calculating and posting movements in the general ledger for the monthly closing;
• Preparing liquidity forecasts;
• Preparing budget proposals and forecasts and consulting with the budget manager;
• Carrying out internal checks aimed at cost control and monitoring;
• Checking VAT returns made by Accounting staff;
• Improving processes and systems;
• Initiating improvement proposals regarding procedures and implementation.

Requirements

• At least a completed college education towards Business Economics or Accountancy;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
• You have broader experience in consolidating figures and preparing reports;
• If you have experience with IFRS this is an advantage;
• Knowledge of Exact Globe and Exact synergy;
• Excellent knowledge of financial systems and Excel;
• Analytically strong and able to interpret and report financial data;
• Communicative skills and able to explain complex financial information to various stakeholders clearly;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing.

Benefits

This is a fun and challenging job with the possibility of permanent employment. The salary indication for this position is € 4500 - € 6000. Our client offers the possibility to work flexibly and remotely, on the days you work at the office you will of course receive a decent travel allowance.
