For our Tribe Commercial Finance (Comfin) we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Journey Expert / Product Manager. Your most important task in this team is to work with us to continuously improve the Comfin product range for the various Comfin countries and to coordinate the larger cross-border (regulatory) programs. You will also design, facilitate and supervise the international QBR process for Comfin product and system development.
Where are you going to work?
This vacancy concerns a position in the Product Delivery team that is involved in (further) development of the International Commercial Finance propositions: debtor, stock and purchase financing. This team also consists of other Customer Journey Experts and Feature Engineers and is mainly involved in projects at the interface between business, product management and IT.
The Product Delivery team is part of the ING Comfin Tribe organization and is part of ING Bank NL – Business Banking. You will be part of a Tribe that has the pupose to develop a cross border product proposition and to build a ComFin strategy and product proposition that can be used in all ING countries (focus on Market Leaders; NL & BE). Next to that the Tribe will be working on digitization of products and internal processes and seamless delivery across countries

Roles and responsibilities
X-border product management, improvement and digitization of propositions and customer experience and continuous adherence to internal and external regulations of the existing Comfin propositions form the heart of this position.
Cross country Program Management: Coordination of regulatory or other programs with a strong focus on IT and processes
Facilitate and guide the cross-border QBR mechanism for product, process and (IT) system improvements
International product management of the common Comfin products
Contribute to digitization and improving the customer experience of existing products and ensure that the products and systems remain in line with market, technology and regulatory developments
Contribute to improving existing products, processes and systems, including regulatory aspects.
What does this position require of you?

You understand how to align the interests of different Comfin countries and how to successfully translate complex issues into product and IT system adjustments. You understand how to map and improve a customer journey. You have affinity and hands-on experience with innovation. You are highly analytical and have an affinity with IT systems. And further:
You bring in a team an improvement trajectory or incremental innovation from idea to market entry, including managing a multitude of stakeholders: sales, risk and compliance, IT, customers, etc.
You translate the strategy into the desired product features, customer experience and IT systems.
You optimize costs and control product risks and product requirements in relation to customers, suppliers, various Comfin countries and regulators.

Who are you?
You have a university or master's degree.
at least 6 years of work experience as a customer journey expert, product manager or business analyst at a leading financial institution at the intersection of Business and IT.
You have experience in an international context.
Demonstrable experience in the field of business banking is an advantage.
You can start up and coordinate projects and programmes, whereby you are sensitive to the environment and receive support.
You know how to balance well between the need to meet the requirements in terms of legislation and regulations and at the same time the customer's interests.
You can easily explain complex matters and include people in it. And use your analytical skills for this.
You like results and quickly make the transition from thinking to doing.
You are a true collaborator with a positive mindset; you see opportunities.
You speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of Dutch, French, Polish or Romanian is an advantage.
