For our Commercial Finance (“Comfin”) Customer Journey team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced customer journey expert. Your main task in this team is to work with us to continuously improve the Comfin product offering and the customer & employee journey. Your focus lies on added value and the customer experience for our customers and efficiency and effectiveness for internal ING users.

Your place of work

The Comfin Product Delivery team is part of ING Bank NL – Business Banking and offers services in the field of Working Capital Financing (accounts receivable, inventory and import financing). Thanks to our modern and innovative attitude, we always find suitable financial solutions for our customers, now and in the future. Working at ING Comfin means working in a dynamic culture where open and direct communication is key and where the focus is on getting results through teamwork. The team in which you work overlaps several segments (Business Banking, MidCorp, CC) and is responsible for product development, product management and innovation in relation to the Comfin products.

The role and responsibilities

Further development, improvement of propositions and the customer experience, and creating access to customer data of the existing ABF propositions are the main tasks of this position:

Improve the customer experience of existing products and ensure that products and systems remain aligned with developments in the market and technological developments.
Develop and implement new products based on existing propositions.
Develop and implement incremental digital innovations for existing products and customer journeys, for both customers and internal users.
Improve existing products, processes and systems, including regulatory aspects.

You understand how to map and improve a customer journey. You have affinity and hands-on experience with innovation. You are highly analytical and have an affinity with IT systems. And additionally:

You work within a team to progress an improvement project or incremental innovation from the initial idea to market launch, including managing several stakeholders: sales, risk and compliance, IT, customers, etc.
You distil the strategy down to the desired product features and customer experience.
You contribute to keeping the Comfin products compliant, in line with changing regulations.
You develop, manage, harmonise and phase commercial products, services, systems and processes.
You optimise the costs and manage product risks and product requirements relating to the customer, suppliers and supervisory authorities.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
You have at least 4 years’ experience working as a customer journey expert, product manager or business analyst at a leading financial institution at the intersection between business and IT.
Proven experience in the field of business banking is an advantage.
You can initiate and coordinate projects, and show sensitivity to the environment and an ability to rally support when doing so.
You know how to effectively balance the need to comply with legal and regulatory requirements with the customer’s interests. You see and discover opportunities to realise our growth ambitions.
You can explain complex issues in simple terms that others understand and support fully, and you use your analytical skills for this.
You enjoy getting results and quickly switch from analysis and reflection to concrete action.
You are a real team player with a positive mindset; you see opportunities.
You speak and write fluent Dutch.
