Trading Manager - Amsterdam- Leading Global Prop Trading Firm

Salary: €150+ (no cap)

Highly analytical, driven team lead with exceptional communication skills wanted to join this fast-growing and ambitious prop trading firm headquartered in the heart of Amsterdam.

No two days in this role are the same. Working closely with other trading teams, researchers, developers and the Risk team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing trading strategies to take the firm to the next level. A hands-on role, you will also coach, mentor and guide both junior and experienced traders to successful execution of new trading strategies. You will draw on your expertise to spot and prevent issues before they arise, recognising odd behaviour and/or market patterns to make improvements or develop a new strategy.

The successful Trading Manager will be an enthusiastic individual, with a creative, hands-on approach to problem-solving. If you love to share your experience and inspire those around you with your forward-thinking ideas, then this is the role for you!

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success
• Strong team lead experience, including coaching/supporting team members
• Sound understanding of market microstructure
• Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics, Statistics, Computational Finance (or equivalent)
• Innovative mindset, always looking for improvements and creative new trading ideas
