As Team Lead at ING Business Banking Transaction Services NL (TS), you lead a team of specialists in the field of TS (Payments & Cash Management, Savings and TFS) within the MidCorporate domain. You are a liaison for FM and working closely together with the FM teams. The TS team is divided per sector and works across four regions, in this way you and your team ensure national TS service for all TS key customers. You are responsible for the product profitability of TS within the MidCorporate domain.
This central role gives you the opportunity to manage the TS product across the regions, identifying and executing on relevant customer events per sector from a strategic, policy and operational perspective. In this way the TS product remains relevant for the customer and the bank.
In addition to your managerial responsibilities, you also fulfill a hands-on advisory role towards Business Banking customers with complex needs and you manage your own wallet of TS key customers. You take the customer's ecosystem as a starting point and proactively respond to specific customer events in the field of TS.
Your responsibilities / Commercial, operational responsibility and risk management
You are a ‘playing captain’, you find out customer wishes and advise which products and services are best suited to this;
You are the authority in the field of TS for customers and prospects. You focus on optimizing sectoral knowledge and TS craftsmanship;
You identify opportunities with prospects and proactively increase our customer base together with your team;
You stimulate cooperation in the broadest sense between the Clients Service Teams and the Client Loyalty Teams and colleagues from various involved parts of ING such as the product delivery tribes.
Specialist with entrepreneurship and broad internal and external network
You are part of the Transaction Services Lead Team and together with another TS sector lead you are ultimately responsible for the realization of the ambitions, financial targets and total services of the NL TS performance
Together with the other team lead you are responsible for informing the regional MTs;
You are a sparring partner for your employees:
You manage your team centrally with a sectoral focus and thus develop a vision and strategy for each sector;
You work event-driven and thus ensure an efficient way of working across the regions
You are responsible for setting the roadmap and maintaining the TS craftsmanship on a high level
You are responsible for the quality of the work of the Specialists in the various areas of advice, including careful recording;
You steer on the Agile Way of Working, stimulate independence but keep an eye for balance from both a private and a business perspective.
You implement the movement towards event driven sales at key customers, simple customer questions and customer questions from basic customers must be routed through the CST to the CLT without compromising CX (cost-to-serve).
You are organization sensitive and can deal with differences in dynamics, behavior and local challenges of the four regions and the central P&HC
You can work together with different stakeholders within Market Leaders and Wholesale Banking and other parties within the chain
Fluency in Dutch is required to apply

As a Teamlead Transaction Services you also have:
a completed university education;
at least 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of Payments & Cash Management or Trade Finance Services gained at a financial institution or at a corporate organization.
General knowledge of Commercial Finance and Financial Markets products;
Preferably followed a relevant additional training in the field of Treasury Management, for example the Treasury Management (QT) training at the NIVE;
at least 2 years of demonstrable experience in managing professionals, affinity/experience with steering on output and agile working is an advantage;
