Team Lead Compliance

Role: Team Lead Compliance Financial Solutions
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: Competitive and Candidate Dependent
Reporting To: Global Compliance Director, Netherlands

We are currently representing a leading trading firm in Amsterdam that is looking for a team lead compliance (financial solutions). The role itself comes with plenty of responsibility - you will be working within the compliance department on ensuring the compliance with internal and external regulations.

The Candidate

• 5+ years of experience within the compliance field
• Knowledge of MIFID II, EMIR, IFD/IFR, and preferably understanding of Wwft
• Ability to work with different stakeholders in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand complex matters, be proactive, and provide independent views
• Fluent in English, and any other language is a plus

The Role

• Developing and maintaining regulatory framework for the company
• Performing regulatory impact assessments
• Preparing compliance reports to the compliance director and the company management board
• Developing new and reviewing existing policies and procedures
• Ensuring the business is up to date on regulations, legislations and best practices
• Training employees on internal policies
• Providing compliance advice to different departments within the company
• Conducting periodic compliance reviews
• Assisting with (external) audits
• Participating as Chair of the company's Risk and Compliance Committee
