Job Description


In ordr to sustain its growing business in The Netherlands, we are looking for a Support Officer who will provide administrative support to the team in accordance with the procedures and the instructions issued by the team members.
The main responsibilities of the position will include the following:
* Conducting general correspondence, relating to client entities, with authorities, banks and consultants;
* Providing assistance with: creation of client acceptance files, collecting client acceptance documentation and preparing client acceptance forms;
* Providing assistance in updating client acceptance files and when performing (annual) compliance reviews;
* Providing assistance in the establishment of client entities;
* Providing assistance in opening bank accounts of client entities;
* Participate and assist in relation to operational matters, such as drafting of internal procedures;
* Preparation of standard documents such as powers of attorney, shareholder and board resolutions, minutes of general meetings of shareholders;
* Updating register of shareholders/members of client entities;
* Attending and taking minutes of board meetings of client entities;
* Taking care of assignments and changes in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce;
* Timely filing of (draft) accounts with the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce;
* Contribution to deliver high quality standards and compliance with internal procedures;
* Responsible for managing electronic client files, including archiving;
* Entering payments and seeking authorisation of these from the relevant persons;
* Check bank balances;
* General duties such as scanning and copying documents, handling courier shipments, answering the telephone;
* Other ad hoc activities.

 

Qualifications


The ideal candidate should have the following:
* Completed HAVO / VWO; MER would be advantageous;
* Approximately 3 years+ of relevant work experience, preferably at a trust company or a notary office, corporate law section;
* Strong communication skills, both externally and internally;
* Experienced in the preparation of documents (in Dutch and English) and in oral and written communication with clients. The mastery of another language is an advantage;
* Reliable, proactive, decisive;
* Flexible and able to set priorities;
* Able to cope well with deadlines and stress;
* Team player who is committed and takes responsibility.
