Role

As a Senior Java Developer specialized in Market Making, Low Latency, and High Frequency Trading, your main responsibilities would be:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, low-latency trading applications using Core Java.
• Implementing algorithms for market making, order matching, and pricing.
• Working closely with traders, quants, and other developers to understand business requirements and develop solutions.
• Building and optimizing software systems for high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance.
• Performing code reviews and providing technical guidance to other developers in the team.
• Participating in the full software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues in production environments and implementing fixes as necessary.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in trading and financial technology.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Modern and Low Latency C++ (17/20)
• Extensive experience implementing and optimising Algorithms
• Experience in Multithreaded and asynchronous programming
• Adept at working in a Unix/Linux environment
• A history of producing extensible code with good abstractions
• Previous Trading Experience is great….but not required
• Devout advocate of Solid Coding Principles
• Humble and collaborative approach to team work.

This role would be suited to people with a background in software engineering, development, quantitative development, or algo trading.
