Role: Compliance Officer

A leading pension fund in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced compliance officer to become responsible for supporting and overseeing their account management departement- this will include strategic and stakeholder management responsibilities and implementing effective compliance risk management processess. The Candidate:
* 5+ years of compliance experience within the financial services space, preferably within the Netherlands
* Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance obligations/rules
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
* Ability to represent the compliance department
* Critical and analytical mindset in order to support and challenge the business
* Strong organizational and presentation skills
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Fluency in English and any other language is a bonus

The Role:
* Keeping update with the compliance risk management cycle across the business
* Identifying integrity risks and advising on internal corporate governance and (new) regulations
* Act as a business partner to the head of compliance of the group function
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business units and its products
* Implement compliance training programs across all functions
* Develop a robust compliance culture within the account management space
