Our client is a global name within real estate investments. Due to continued growth in the Netherlands, they are now seeking an Associate - Real Estate (Logistics) to join their dynamic team in Amsterdam.

The Associate – Real Estate (Logistics) will support the portfolio manager in optimizing asset performance, implementing ESG initiatives, and contributing to investment activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate asset management.

Key responsibilities of the Associate – Real Estate (Logistics):

  • Support the portfolio manager in managing and enhancing asset performance.
  • Champion and implement ESG priorities.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and asset management strategies.
  • Implement capex programs and lease renewals.
  • Assist in crafting and presenting profitable business cases.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on real estate markets, including property valuations.
  • Coordinate external teams (property managers, leasing agents, lawyers).
  • Prepare and analyse periodic investor reports.
  • Support quarterly and annual property valuation processes.
  • Assist in underwriting new investment opportunities.
  • Present investment proposals to the Board and Investment Committee.
  • Monitor and communicate investment opportunities to the team.
  • Contribute to developing a pipeline of potential investments.

The Associate – Real Estate (Logistics) will meet the following criteria:

  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate asset management covering the logistics sector is essential.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent).
  • Strong financial, analytical, and modelling skills.
  • Knowledge of local real estate laws.
  • Understanding of tenant mix and operations.
  • Interest in ESG investing within real estate.
