Overview: We have an exciting new role working at a Global level with one of the largest Grocery Retailers, managing 6 markets, including France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland and Romania. This role will engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally and will sit within the Commerce team and will report directly into the Senior Director for Retail. The role will have a team of 7 people including Account Managers for each market and a Project Manager
This role will be a maternity cover position.
Responsibilities: - You will be responsible for forecasting and managing the P&L for all 6 markets, ensuring that your team deliver to plan by territory.
- In conjunction with your team and the partner, you will be responsible for the long term growth plans for each market and ensuring annual delivery against those plans.
- You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the Senior team at this Grocery Retailer both at a group and local market level, through strong relationship building but also key meetings such as Quarterly Business Reviews and Annual Senior Leadership meetings.
- Working closely with a team of 6 to deliver annually against our plan.
This role, when it is safe to do so, will require international travel to the following markets; France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Romania, Poland, Brazil
Qualifications: - Experience in managing a large multi-million-dollar P&L and delivering to plan annually
- Experiencing in creating long term strategies, across multiple markets, to deliver long term growth for our business.
- Experience as a people manager
- Ability to manage to a budget
- Fluent English is required
- Excellent written English skills are a must.
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- A proven track record in building strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders both externally and internally.
- Ability to analyse data and draw logical and intelligent conclusions from it.
- An ability to manage multiple work streams, with multiple dependencies at any one time
- A proven track record in problem solving.
- An ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Experience in presenting to large audiences.
- A proven track record in negotiation and objection handling.
- Willingness to be flexible with workload, priorities, and time.
