About the Role:

As a Performance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing, optimizing, and continuously fine-tuning our trading stack. Your mission is to enhance the performance of our low latency trading systems on financial exchanges. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, interact with cutting-edge technologies like microwave links and FPGAs, and use vast amounts of network data to uncover insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovation: Experiment with multiple ideas, solutions, and technologies concurrently.
Automation: Skillfully automate measurement, data collection, and analysis through scripting.
Precision: Exhibit the acumen of a latency measurement detective, pinpointing microseconds with precision.
Communication: Effectively communicate information to traders and IT teams.

Who You Are:

Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of computer internals, networking, and Linux (proficiency in at least two out of three). Adept in reverse engineering techniques.
Mindset: Exhibit an inquisitive mind, a knack for unraveling complex puzzles, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance post-training.
Experience: Showcase your commercial programming prowess in either Python or Java.
