Redstone Commodity Search are working with a renewable energy trading house looking to hire a I-REC trader to join the team in Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Structure strategic transactions and trades of renewable energy certificates.
Develop & manage the risk of a forward book, and execute trading strategies.
Assist the team with the structuring and negotiation of complex long term OTC contracts.
Propose new deal structures & deals complying with market’s requirements.
Role reports to Managing Partner.

Key Qualifications / Experience

+5 years’ experience in a commercial role within renewable energy space, ideally within certificates trading (Goo, RECs, I-RECs, etc).
Background within power trading, PPAs and offtake agreements is an advantage.
Fluent in English with any other European language being an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or higher is a requirement.
Located or willing to relocate to Amsterdam.
