Gresham Hunt are working with a global bank based in Amsterdam in their search for a Financial Controller.

As part of a team that reports into the executive committee and board, you will be tasked with advising the leaders on the performance of their business sectors:

The person:

• Experience of working within the Banking and Financial Services Sectors

• You have an academic degree in Finance or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills: able to understand and explain complex matters quickly
• Advanced skills in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Analytical mindset, able to provide analysis and context to stakeholders
• Ability to liaise influence at all levels throughout the business, from junior to C-Suite/Board

The role:

• Providing global financial reports and insights by acting as an advisory function to your business partners
• Participating in and supporting team involvement in multiple cross-functional projects and virtual teams to improve collaboration within both Finance and Front Office
• As part of a highly skilled team, liaise with C-Suite and board level  employees to run through key financial information
• Continuously look for improvements and efficiencies in processes, especially around time, value and delivery
