UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank's growth ambition. Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned operations leader to head the Wholesale Operational Readiness Centre (WORC), a critical function ensuring the smooth implementation of technology, process, and regulatory changes across the bank.
The role oversees the full spectrum of Testing, Training, and Documentation, ensuring high-quality delivery and operational readiness across Cash, Payments, Trade, Loans, and Channels.
You will lead a large and diverse team and work closely with senior leadership from the Head Office to drive execution and quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operational Governance
- Lead and manage multiple teams to execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a wide portfolio of initiatives, including strategic transformation, digitalization, and regulatory programs.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure UAT milestones, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Establish strong governance practices, ensuring adherence to the Bank's Software Development framework and operational risk standards.
- Partner closely with Head Office on project planning, capacity management, quality assurance, and productivity management.
- Drive ongoing alignment with senior stakeholders from Head Office to ensure smooth implementation and operational readiness.
- Chair monthly service review meetings with Head Office to present productivity, quality, risk, and people metrics.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, automate controls, and enhance testing effectiveness.
- Champion the adoption of automation, digital tools, and GenAI solutions to uplift productivity, strengthen controls, and streamline end-to-end testing, documentation, and training processes.
- Strengthen organizational capability through improved documentation standards, robust training materials, and well-governed change execution.
- Develop, coach, and inspire a large workforce, ensuring strong leadership succession and high performance across teams.
- Bachelor's degree; advanced certifications in project management, testing, or process improvement are advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial institutions, with strong exposure to wholesale operations.
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams (50+), including middle-management layers.
- Deep operational knowledge in SWIFT standards and processes within Cash Management, Trade Finance, or Loans.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test management life cycles, quality assurance, and readiness frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose root causes beyond surface symptoms.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, including stakeholder engagement and senior-level presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership, drive issues to closure, and influence outcomes across diverse teams and geographies.
- Mature leadership qualities with strong judgement, resilience, and a collaborative working style.
