Responsibilities

- Analyze outbound travel and digital wallet user trends in Japan and across Asia; develop growth strategies across travel categories (flights, hotels, attractions, transportation, etc.) to improve DAT, retention, new user orders, and repurchase.

- Support Alipay+ partner wallets and regional operations; collaborate with Japanese travel, retail, and lifestyle merchants to drive adoption of Alipay+ Travel Solutions.

- Develop and localize integrated marketing strategies using Alipay+ brand and Japanese wallet partners to grow users and enhance brand visibility in Japan.

- Plan and operate online/offline campaigns, content marketing, and themed events to drive user acquisition and conversion among Japanese users.

- Use data and user insights to identify new marketing opportunities and optimize lifecycle user operations.

- Lead cross-functional growth initiatives by collaborating closely with product, tech, UED, marketing, and external partners in Japan.

- Drive effective communication and project execution across teams to ensure successful implementation of marketing and business strategies in the Japanese market.

Job Requirement

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years of experience in user growth, product operations, brand/marketing operations, channel operations, or integrated marketing. Experience in travel, OTA, O2O, or digital wallet sectors is highly preferred.

- Strong data analysis ability, strategic insight, and the capability to independently execute projects from 0 to 1.

- Excellent collaboration skills across functions and cultures; able to manage multi-stakeholder projects efficiently.

- Strong business and user insight, with awareness of Japan's market trends and marketing innovation.

- Experience working with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard) or global/Asia marketing partnerships is a plus.

- Proficiency in English and Japanese (working language). Additional Asian languages are welcome.

- Willingness to travel within Asia occasionally; longer-term assignments are a plus.

- Passion for cross-border travel and strong understanding of Japanese outbound traveler behavior.
