Role Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Lead - Python to drive architecture, technical standards, and engineering excellence across multiple engineering-focused projects. The candidate should be a strong hands-on Python engineer with experience in EPC domain, modern APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and govern architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and technical best practices.
• ead technical design and development of scalable Python applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Mentor Tech Leads and Senior Developers and act as a technical escalation point.
• Drive code quality, testing, security, performance, and CI/CD practices.
• Promote reusable services, frameworks, libraries, and engineering solutions across teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Engineering SMEs.
• Lead engineering automation, modernization, and AI-driven initiatives.

Engineering Domain:

Experience in one or more of:

• EPC Domain
• CAD/BIM or engineering design applications
• Engineering calculations and rule-based validation
• CAD/DWG processing and automation
• Geometry/spatial processing
• Engineering quality-control tools

AutoCAD/Civil 3D API, DWG/DXF, GIS, PostGIS, GeoPandas, experience is a strong advantage.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong Python 3.x experience.
• FastAPI / Django / Flask.
• REST APIs, Microservices, Async Programming.
• SQL/PostgreSQL and database design.
• PyTest, unit/integration testing.
• Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Docker and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability, security, and performance.
• Terraform / Kubernetes and messaging technologies are good to have.

Good to Have:

• React/Angular and API integration.
• NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, GeoPandas, Shapely, PySpark.
• AI/ML, LLMs, Generative AI, or engineering automation.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D or other engineering software APIs.

Qualifications

Experience & Soft Skills:

• 10-12 years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading architecture and technical delivery across multiple projects.
• Strong mentoring, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and work effectively with global/distributed teams.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in any specialization, or a related field.
