We are seeking a motivated Senior Officer / Assistant Manager to join our client's Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring smooth trade execution and operational excellence across investment activities.
Responsibilities- Trade coordination: Liaise with middle-office service providers, custodians, brokers, and counterparties to ensure accurate and timely trade matching, settlement, and operational processing.
- Exception management: Monitor and resolve trade exceptions, settlement failures, and breaks promptly.
- Cash & liquidity reporting: Prepare and maintain cash projections and liquidity reports to support investment and treasury activities.
- Reconciliations: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash, position, and portfolio reconciliations with custodians, administrators, and internal records.
- Fee & expense booking: Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, and internal teams to ensure accurate booking of fees and expenses.
- Corporate actions: Process and monitor dividends, interest payments, rights issues, stock splits, and other voluntary or mandatory events.
- Account management: Support account opening, maintenance, and KYC documentation with brokers, custodians, and banking counterparties.
- Regulatory & audit support: Assist in operational reporting, regulatory filings, and audit requests.
- Process improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and contribute to operational excellence.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics & Finance, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment operations, fund operations, securities operations, asset management, hedge funds, private equity, or financial institutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office; VBA knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong analytical ability, customer service orientation, troubleshooting skills, and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a mission-critical operations and support environment.
