Role Overview
The role reports to senior management and oversees a team dedicated to SME and tech sector banking. Success is measured by the ability to cultivate relationships, grow portfolios, and ensure credit and risk management standards are upheld. The incumbent will also coordinate with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience and explore new business opportunities within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish long-term, high-value relationships with SME clients, focusing on the science and technology innovation sector.
• Explore and develop new client opportunities, cross-selling banking products to maximise revenue.
• Conduct financial analyses, evaluate risk profiles, and prepare credit proposals and reviews.
• Oversee the risk profiles of loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with KYC and AML standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain high-quality client management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial banking experience, with proven independence in handling lending and deposit portfolios.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and relationship management skills.
• Candidates with a Financial Technology background or holding SFC Type 1 & 4 licenses will be given strong priority.
• Must have required skills: HKG RM MME, HKG RM SME.
