A well-established Hong Kong banking institution is seeking a Real Estate Valuation professional to join its Property Valuation team. This is an excellent opportunity for surveyors and valuation professionals looking to develop their careers within a stable banking environment, supporting mortgage lending and credit decision-making through independent valuation expertise.

Your new role

• Conduct property valuations for mortgage lending and other banking purposes, including verbal valuations and formal valuation reports
• Perform site inspections, market research, comparable sales analysis and property due diligence
• Review and update valuation policies, internal guidelines and procedures in line with regulatory and market developments
• Analyse property market trends and provide professional valuation opinions to internal stakeholders
• Handle land search requests, title-related enquiries and valuation-related requests from business units
• Prepare management reports, statistical analyses and portfolio valuation data
• Collaborate closely with Credit, Risk, Mortgage and Business Banking teams to support lending decisions
• Ensure valuation activities are completed with a high degree of accuracy, compliance and professional standards

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder in Surveying, Real Estate, Property Valuation or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of property valuation experience gained from banks, valuation consultancies, surveyor firms or relevant institutions
• Membership of HKIS and/or RICS is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong property market dynamics and valuation methodologies
• Experience in mortgage valuation, credit-related valuation or secured lending assessments is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager title
