This role supports daily depository and vault operations, including certificate handling, counter service, reconciliation, reporting, process improvement and issue escalation.
Job Duties:
Job Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of strategic Depository initiatives including business analysis, requirement gathering, testing coordination, implementation and post-launch support
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, market participants, issuers, share registrars, vendors and regulators to facilitate project execution and business change activities.
- Support the development and implementation of new operational processes including fee-related processes, market reforms and product enhancements.
- Support cross-asset class and emerging business opportunities through implementation, operational readiness, post-launch BAU support and control framework development
- Perform impact assessments, process reviews, and business analysis to support the introduction of new products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive modernization initiatives through process reengineering, digitization, automation, AI adoption and operational excellence projects.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, management updates, operating procedures and market communications where required.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), practice sessions and operational readiness activities for new projects and system enhancements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely delivery.
- Undertake other ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Project Management, or related disciplines.
- At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in securities operations, post-trade services, project management, business analysis, market infrastructure or financial services.
- Experience participating in business transformation, process improvement, system implementation or change management initiatives would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external parties.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and willing to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong interest in business transformation, automation, AI adoption and operational modernization.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, data analytics tools, or project management methodologies would be an advantage.
