Exciting opportunity to join a leading Asia-dedicated Asset Management firm with over USD 6 bil in AUM! Our client is a well-performing and growing investment management firm with offices in Hong Kong and Beijing. As part of their expansion, they are looking to onboard an Operations Manager who will work together with a team on all operations matters.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily and monthly reconciliation
- Prepare daily PnL and risk reports to traders and PMs and other ad-hoc reports when required
- Monitor various fund operation issues including settlements, collateral, and cash management
- Liaise with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund administrator and system vendors to resolve trade issues and trade breaks
- Work closely with other teams such as trading, finance and compliance to ensure operational process is smooth
- Review fund capital activity to ensure it is properly processed
Requirements:
- 5‐8 years of work experience in the asset management industry
- Relevant experience in a buyside firm and/or fund administration and/or Big 4 background is preferred
- Dynamic, able to work independently and as a team player
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Proficient in Excel. Microsoft VBA macro skills would also be beneficial
- English, Mandarin & Cantonese fluency is preferred to liaise with teammates and investors of various backgrounds
