The main function of the team is to provide dedicated support for both Delta 1 trading desk within Equity Financing Group and Single Stock and Index (vanilla / structured products) trading desk within Equities and Funds Structure. This includes taking ownership of day to day functions and ensuring Operational control requirements are met. In additional to the day to day functions the Investment Bank Equities Middle Office team play an integral role in the rapidly growing equities business at Barclays and are key stakeholders in multiple projects and new business ventures.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Monitor services provided by offshore control team and communicate with business for any escalation from offshore teams
  • Monitor life-cycling/corporate action events on structured products
  • Work with Trading, Trade Capture team, Product Control and Market Risk on resolving any queries from internal or external sources
  • Actively question and challenge existing practices / procedures and make improvement suggestions

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Ideally between 3-5 years of experience working in investment banking
